Abstract
The implantation of fibroblasts over the denuded endometrium in rabbit and rat uteri was followed by the inhibition of endometrial regeneration. The fibroblast proliferation led to development of intra-uterine adhesions and endometrial fibrosis. These observations were the rationale behind a clinical trial which attempted to reduce uterine blood loss by the replacement of the endometrium by connective tissue.Entities:
