Abstract
Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) has been shown to be effective in treating the behavioral symptoms associated with psychiatric disorders in demented patients. Four case studies are presented that show its efficacy in treating behavioral symptoms in demented patients. We suggest that ECT is beneficial in these potentially life-threatening behavioral disturbances.Entities:
