The role of the clinical pharmacologist in the teaching hospital.

Abstract

Clinical pharmacology is the scientific basis of rational drug therapy. The functions of the clinical pharmacologist comprise education, clinical practice, research and administrative duties. The functions of the department of clinical pharmacology in the modern teaching hospital have been outlined.
