Quantum cellular biology: a curious example of a cat.

M Kameyama1.

Abstract

In this paper, as a curious example of Schrodinger's cat, quantum cellular biology describes the similarity between a 'Schrodinger's cat' and a 'Schrodinger's cat-like state' of a single cell made by the microcell fusion method. Mutations result from quantum processes involving molecules that cross over an energy barrier from one stable configuration to a different stable configuration. As we allow in principle for the aspects of this phenomena, this insight may suggest a new quantum cellular biology. Copyright 2001 Harcourt Publishers Ltd.
