Abstract
A 28-year-old woman presented with a recurrent nodule on the lower margin of her left nostril after laser surgery. Histologically, the nodule had an indistinct margin and was composed of interlacing fascicles of plump, spindled or stellate tumor cells with mild cytologic atypia. The tumor cells were revealed to be myofibroblasts by positivity to smooth muscle actin and negativity to desmin. A diagnosis of low grade myofibroblastic sarcoma (LGMS) was made.Entities:
