Calculation of drug dosage regimens in patients with renal disease: a new nomographic method.

P Spring.

Abstract

A simple nomograph is described which allows to estimate graphically the individual elimination rate constants of 43 drugs in patients with renal disease based on the endogenous creatinine clearance or the serum creatinine concentration. It is shown how modified dosage regimens are calculated from the estimated elimination rate constants.
