Lactate dehydrogenase: inhibition of subunit A by the sulfhydryl reagent AgNO3.

J Schmitt, H Ritter.

Abstract

Lactate dehydrogenase isoenzymes including the subunit A--LDH 5 (A4), LDH 4 (A3B), LDH 3 (A2B2), and LDH 2 (AB3)--are inhibitable by the sulfhydryl reagent AgNO3, while the isoenzyme LDH 1 (B4) is not.
