Abstract
Genome-wide mutational and expression analyses have been performed in yeast and provide a model for large-scale analysis of gene function in filamentous fungi. The recent completion of the Neurospora crassa genome offers a resource for comparative analysis with plant pathogenic filamentous fungi. These advances have important implications for molecular genetic studies of pathogenicity genes.Entities:
