Abstract
Functional MR imaging (fMRI) is useful for the determination of cerebral hemisphere language dominance, but it can be misleading if the imaging studies are not performed properly. The theoretic and technical problems involved in this use of fMRI are discussed, including behavioral paradigms, data analysis methods, subject handedness, and gender.Mesh:
