Professional abuse of children: Responsibility for the delivery of services.

Determination of which children will receive or be excluded from services, as well as the nature and extent of those services is largely the province of professionals. This paper examines the responsibility of professionals and social service agencies for the delivery - and denial-of services to children,discusses children's rights, and examines the role and oligation of professionals in the resolution of larger social issues.
