Abstract
A radiologic method of measuring metastases was developed and statistically analyzed with respect to survival based on 103 patients with known metastases at diagnosis. The analysis revealed a significant correlation between shortened patient survival and the combination of number of sites involved and the extent of involvement within each site. These quantitative analysis are useful in predicting patient survival and in studying response to treatment.Entities:
