Abstract
Venous outflow problems in right lobe, living-donor liver transplantation are uncommon, but devastating when they occur. We describe the successful use of the recipient's left portal vein as an interposition graft to drain a dominant middle hepatic vein in a right lobe liver transplant. Two weeks after transplantation, the vein graft accounted for 56% of the total venous outflow of the liver.Entities:
