Abstract
Patients with chronic renal failure are predisposed to infections. Infections in end-stage renal disease patients are caused by immunosuppressive effects of uremia. Patients with renal failure on dialysis have impaired host defenses and may develop infections related to vascular access. This article reviews the infectious complications related to chronic renal failure in dialysis.Entities:
