Ectopic liver tissue within the umbilical cord.

Abstract

A solid mass in the umbilical cord is a very rare finding. A neonate with isolated ectopic liver tissue found in the umbilical cord is reported. This is the first known such reported case. Copyright 2001 by W.B. Saunders Company.
