Abstract
Lateral medullary infarct (LMI) usually presents with a variety of neurological features. We describe a case of LMI in which acute dysphagia was the only initial symptom. This typical neurological syndrome is very unlikely to be found during ENT practice; however, it needs to be considered among the differential diagnoses when encountering dysphagia of uncertain origin.Entities:
