Partial cystectomy in the treatment of bladder cancer.

R A Evans, J H Texter.

Abstract

A retrospective study was made on 57 partial cystectomies for bladder cancer performed during a 25-year period. Operative mortality was zero and morbidity was low. The 5-year survival rate was 59.5 per cent. The procedure is believed to be a good choice in certain cases. These criteria are discussed.
