Abstract
Six cases of bronchial carcinoma in Nigerians are reported. The clinical presentations were not different from those described in temperare countries. The view is expressed that bronchial carcinoma is rare in Nigerians. Two factors are suggested as being responsible for this: decreased longevity and decreased contact with external carcinogens, of which the most likely are cigarette smoke and atmospheric pollution.Entities:
