Abstract
OBJECT: To study the effects of fruits of Hovenia dulcis (FHD) on acute alcohol toxicity in mice. METHOD: Acute alcohol toxicity in mice was used to observe the effects of FHD on sleep time and alcohol concentration in blood. RESULTS: FHD could shorten sleep time distinctly and reduce alcohol concentration in blood of acute alcohol toxicity mice. CONCLUSION: FHD has an obvious effect on acute alcohol toxicity.
