Abstract
Ketamine was found to raise the systemic arterial blood pressure but not necessarily the perfusion in hypovolaemic states. However, in hypotensive states of short duration from endotoxin treatment, it improved the haemodynamics with increase in both the perfusion and the systemic pressure. The implications of these observations for clinical situations were discussed.Entities:
