Abstract
A 40-year-old primigravida presented with acute urine retention. Ultrasound examination revealed a large uterine submucosal leiomyoma and GnRH-a was administered. The leiomyoma grew to over twice its original size and protruded through the introitus. After 10 days, it was expelled completely and removed by resectohysteroscopy. The expulsion of the leiomyoma was most likely a result of GnRH-a's flare-up effect.Entities:
