Abstract
An evaluation of fluorescent amplified fragment length polymorphism (FAFLP) for typing Neisseria gonorrhoeae using 52 isolates revealed that its discriminatory power approached that of Opa-typing in identifying epidemiologically linked isolates. Automated, accurate sizing of FAFLP amplified fragments permits objective data analysis and storage, making it an attractive method for large surveillance projects.Entities:
