Abstract
Morphological aspects of calcifications are identical whatever their site in the arterial layers: fine granular deposits, plates, rings. Occurrence of complications: fibrosis with foreign body type granuloma, thrombosis, and embolism mainly depend on the site and the amount of calcification. Clinicians should be aware of these complications when performing angioplasty.Entities:
