Abstract
Average perfusion in various burn wounds was assessed using Laser Doppler Imaging (LDI). The time necessary for a complete healing of the wound was compared to the results of the LDI measurements. A certain depth of burn was associated with a typical pattern of perfusion in the course of time. There was a significant difference between average perfusion in a full thickness burn requiring surgical treatment and burns with regenerative capacities.Mesh:
