Abstract
Pre-eclampsia is one of the major indications for elective premature delivery. Several lines of evidence suggest that pre-eclampsia is associated with a state of oxidative stress, offering hope of prevention by antioxidant supplementation. It was recently shown by the present authors that supplementation with vitamin C and E from early in pregnancy leads to a reduction in the incidence of the disease in "high-risk" women.Entities:
