Avoidance of fenitrothion by goldfish (Carassius auratus).

Abstract

Goldfish (Carassius auratus) avoided water containing the pesticide fenitrothion. The response was graded over the tested concentration range of 5 orders of magnitude, with a threshold around 10 mug/1, equivalent to 3.5 times 10-minus 8 M.
