Abstract
A patient experienced an acute, brisk, endolaryngeal hemorrhage following an attempt at translaryngeal aspiration of tracheobronchial secretions. The bleeding was probably due to injury of the perforating branch of the cricothyroid artery or vein. The hemorrhage was controlled by a subglottic pack and tracheostomy.Entities:
