Abstract
We report a child affected by Wernicke's encephalopathy (WE), which was unsuspected clinically. MRI suggested the correct diagnosis and prompted appropriate thiamine replacement. WE is a difficult condition to recognise, especially in children, and MRI may be useful in the diagnosis of the disease.Entities:
