Abstract
Saphenous nerve entrapment may cause a painful syndrome simulating vascular disorder of the leg. The anatomical relationship of the saphenous nerve is described to explain the pathogenesis of the syndrome. The clinical features, diagnosis, and results of treatment of 32 patients are reported. The differential diagnosis of the syndrome is discussed. It is concluded that entrapment of the saphenous nerve should be considered when other known syndromes are unable to explain the symptomatology.Entities:
