Delayed penile replantation after prolonged warm ischemia.

Abstract

We report a case of microsurgical replantation of traumatic self-amputation of penis after prolonged warm ischemia as a result of delayed presentation. At 12 weeks postoperative follow-up evaluation, the patient exhibited good urinary flow, spontaneous erection, and a normal response to pharmacological stimulation. Copyright 2001 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
