Abstract
The association between self-presentational motives and health behaviors were studied in a sample of 183 Irish adolescents. Among girls, dieters and nonexercisers scored higher on measures of trait self-presentational concern than nondieters and exercisers. Self-presentational concerns were positively correlated with boys' and girls' endorsement of self-presentational motives for certain health practices.Entities:
