Abstract
PURPOSE: To report a patient with unilateral hemiretinal vein occlusion and macular edema who developed exudative macular detachment after grid laser application. METHODS: Clinical examinations, fundus photography and fluorescein angiography. RESULTS: Severe macular edema and exudation. CONCLUSIONS: This case illustrates a previously unreported complication of grid laser application for macular edema in retinal vein occlusion.
