Mononeuritis multiplex: a complication of open-heart surgery.

Abstract

A prospective examination of all patients undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass in one unit revealed that a number of peripheral nerve lesions occurred during the postoperative period. These were documented over a period of 20 months with follow-up of those patients so affected.
