Atresia of the distal external acoustic meatus in a Bouvier des Flandres.

Abstract

A five-year-old male Bouvier des Flandres was presented with chronic otalgia of approximately four and a half years' duration. Atresia of the external acoustic meatus was diagnosed. A total ear canal ablation and bulla osteotomy were performed. All symptoms of otalgia resolved within two weeks of surgery.
