Abstract
A new cardenolide 14,16 dianhydrogitoxigenin-3-beta-D-xylopyranosyl (1 -->2)- O-beta-D-galactopyranoside was isolated from the ethylacetate soluble fraction of the alcoholic extract of the seeds of Terminalia arjuna by various colour reactions, chemical degradations and spectral analysis.Entities:
