Abstract
Alkali fusion of ginkgolides A and B has afforded five unexpected products 3-7. Their structures were established from their spectral data and chemical reactions. They were evaluated for their in vitro activity to inhibit the platelet-activating factor-induced aggregation of rabbit platelets and show less potency than ginkgolides A and B.Entities:
