Proliferating and non-proliferating compartments in cervical dysplasia and carcinoma in situ.

Abstract

The existence of proliferating and non-proliferating compartments in atypical cervical epithelium is suggested by autoradiographical investigations and studies on the topographical distribution of mitosis performed on human cervical cones and on cervices of mice following carcinogenic treatment.
