Cavitation of pulmonary metastases.

A Wolpowitz.

Abstract

Although cavitation of pulmonary metastases is not as frequent as that of primary involvement, it should always be considered in the differential diagnosis of multiple cavitary lesions. The most frequent cause is squamous cell carcinoma, but it is by no means confined to this type of pathology.
