Abstract
A case of tuberous sclerosis in a 29-year-old female is reported. Over a period of 7 years renal failure had developed, with recurrent renal bleeding. The patient had therefore to be nephrectomized and is awaiting kidney transplant. The involvement of other organs and the longterm course of the disease are discussed in the light of the literature. The question whether kidney transplantation should be performed is considered.Entities:
