Abstract
BACKGROUND: Peroxynitrite is increasingly proposed as a contributor to defence system in marine bivalve. It can be formed by combination of superoxide and nitric oxide, and can react with tyrosine residues of proteins giving rise to 3-nitrotyrosine.Entities:
