Abstract
A review of 1000 aspirations of oocyte donors was performed. Only witnessed events necessitating hospitalization or emergent intervention were considered significant. Seven (0.7% incidence) cases were noted, including severe ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (n = 3), adverse reaction to intravenous anesthesia (n = 2), intra-abdominal bleeding after aspiration (n = 1), and bladder atony with hematuria after aspiration (n = 1).Entities:
