Abstract
This article discusses the gross endoscopic and histologic features of Crohn's disease. Terms used to describe the pathologic features are defined, and possible mechanisms and implications of development are discussed. The gross endoscopic and histologic correlation and the roles of the pathologist and endoscopist in making the diagnosis of Crohn's disease are emphasized.Entities:
