Abstract
This article provides an update on some of the recent advances in primate anesthesia. It focuses in particular on some of the newest information available regarding the effects of opioids and alpha-2 agonists in primates, and how these effects are different from what we might expect in other companion animals. It reviews the important properties of the latest induction and inhalation agents, and stresses the need for continuous monitoring of the anesthetized patient.Entities:
