Abstract
Necrotizing fasciitis and mediastinitis are two rare but grave complications of orofacial infections. The clinical presentation, diagnostic modalities, anatomic pathways, microbiologic make-up, surgical management, and the use of adjuvant HBO therapy for both entities have been discussed.Entities:
