Abstract
Membranous organelles interact with a wide variety of cytoskeletal proteins that allow them to be organized into dynamic, yet stable, structures with distinct subcellular addresses. This review provides an up-to-date summary of the motor enzymes and membrane-microtubule crosslinking proteins that have been implicated in this process, and discusses the potential impact membrane anchoring may have on cellular architecture.Entities:
