The focus group strongly believed that telepharmacy will change the practice of pharmacy and that it is not a matter of if or when but how. Consumers' expectations and the need for efficient health care delivery will drive the use of technology. Pharmacists have considerable lever-age in this technological world because of the money associated with the use of medications. Telepharmacy holds great promise for the profession and should result in greater visibility of pharmacists and enhanced patient access to their services.
