Abstract
This case report presents a surgical case in which an accessory branch of the mental nerve exited the mandible distal and slightly superior to the mental foramen. Careful manipulation of the surgical site allowed proper identification of the mental nerve, and the accessory branch and permanent nerve damage was avoided.Entities:
