Abstract
Toxic epidermal necrolysis and Stevens-Johnson syndrome are rare, life-threatening drug reactions. Widespread epidermal necrosis and mucosal erosions lead to complications similar to those developing after extensive burns. Treatment is supportive. The role of steroids and other potential disease-modifying agents remains to be established by controlled studies.Entities:
