Abstract
Three new analogues of hyperforin (1), pyrano[7,28-b]hyperforin (2), (2R,3R,4S,6R)-6-methoxycarbonyl-3-methyl-4,6-di(3-methyl-2-butenyl)-2-(2-methyl-1-oxopropyl)-3-(4-methyl-3-pentenyl)cyclohexanone (3), and (2R,3R,4S,6S)-3-methyl-4,6-di(3-methyl-2-butenyl)-2-(2-methyl-1-oxopropyl)-3-(4-methyl-3-pentenyl)cyclohexanone (4), were isolated from the aerial parts of Hypericum perforatum (St. John's wort). The structures of 2-4 were elucidated by spectroscopic methods.Entities:
