Abstract
Two young pregnant women with no known risk factors had a transmural myocardial infarction while they were lying in the supine position. Coronary arteriograms 3 1/2 and 4 months later, respectively, were normal. Coronary arterial spasm related to renin release from the transiently ischemic chorion is the proposed cause.Entities:
