Abstract
We report a 58-year-old female patient with the suspected diagnosis of ovarian cancer. Upon surgical exploration, examination of the appendix revealed the histological diagnosis of primary mucinous adenocarcinoma. This is an unusual consideration in the differential diagnosis of the ovarian cancer. We discuss the diagnosis, classification and treatment of the cancer of the appendix in relation to ovarian cancer.Entities:
